Keren Haruvi President, Sandoz Inc. Head of North America |

When asked to describe myself, the first thoughts are mother and leader. In both roles, and especially as a leader at Sandoz, my core values are to be trusting, transparent and vulnerable. I live with a strong sense of urgency because life is happening in real-time and I don’t delay taking on a challenge or seizing an opportunity to provide and ask for feedback. Stepping up, managing and leading an organization – especially in the middle of a pandemic – takes focus and mine is on growing an inclusive, diverse and entrepreneurial culture as we strive to increase our portfolio of generic and biosimilar medicines and support policies that improve patient access. I also apply these core values with our commitment to determination for enhancing supply chain reliability and further efficiencies. My goal is for Sandoz to emerge from the pandemic stronger and with an enhanced understanding of the needs of the diverse communities we serve. |

Len Arsenault VP, Policy, Medical & External Engagement |

I like puzzles, and not the 1,000 piece kind. I like to be challenged with a complex healthcare issue, and bring together disparate parts of an organization to solve it together. I suppose that is why I have been successful in leading teams who are otherwise viewed as separate functions, but when brought together, we find out-of-the-box solutions to complex medical and healthcare policy issues to improve market access and make medicines more accessible to patients. I am a leader who strives to build an inclusive environment where my colleagues feel safe to express their opinions and debate them together, and one who builds strong teams who are good at what they do, and who trust each other so when faced with the most difficult challenges, we find our way — and that’s what I call fun. |

Tim de Gavre VP, Chief Commercial Officer US |
||
As the US commercial lead, I am inspired by our Purpose and our people. We always keep patients in mind, and we strive to expand access for them to our critical medicines. But, we could not do anything without our people, and they are what motivate me to come to work every day. I love creating a high-functioning team that works together to achieve powerful results through excellent collaboration and execution. I also make sure to put aside time to work with the team 1:1 to develop their careers and long-term growth opportunities. This results in a highly motivated team with the ambition to drive the growth of Sandoz US and deliver on our Purpose to expand access to our important and life-changing medicines.

Anthony Maffia VP, Regulatory Affairs, North America |
||
While I started my education and career as a scientist (and this will always be at my core), I appreciate the downstream application of discovery and the role that regulatory plays, to put medicines in the hands of healthcare providers and patients. And now, I continue to strive to enhance the image and perception of Regulatory Affairs as a true strategic partner capable of driving new innovation and value into the organization. Through the building and development of talented teams, we can show just how much Regulatory Affairs has evolved in scope influencing both the internal and external environments.

Karen McDonnell VP, General Counsel North America |
||
By no stretch of the imagination am I a superhero, but I do consider myself Protector of the Company and the people who work here. As a legal advisor and leader of a large team of lawyers, I never give up! If someone says no, it pushes me harder to try to find another solution, often applying creative, out of the box approaches to navigate untreaded waters. I care about the quality of our legal work. I care about my team – and whether they are enjoying their work and the ways we collaborate. I care that we comply because negativity can weigh down the future when we don’t. And, I care about winning, or at least putting our best foot forward in everything we do! Overall, I’m proud to partner with all Sandoz business functions to achieve our goals to increase patient access to high quality medicines

Mohammed A. Obeidat VP, CFO North America |
||
As you can expect with any CFO, I am results-oriented and have learned to balance the hands-on tasks of financial reporting and analysis with high level strategic thinking, business partnering, and effective interpersonal skills. More importantly, I achieve this through others: I am recognized for my strong team leadership, supporting each team member to achieve his or her highest potential, and helping them build working relationships between business and finance teams in highly matrixed environments. I am highly versatile, reliable, able to adapt to fast-paced, continuously changing environments, and build trust for the organization through strong partnerships with senior leaders and other key stakeholders, internally and externally. |

Leslie Pott VP, Corporate affairs North America |
||
My father had always described me as his “tough and tender daughter.” And it’s true that I dial-it-up when it comes to getting results, but also make sure that we have fun along the way. I approach my work by seeking out the most creative solution that will motivate people into action. I am driven by a purpose to get medicines to patients – people like my family and friends, as well as communities in crisis or who have unequitable access to medicines. I brought this passion to Sandoz and launched an on-going product donation program with various non-governmental organizations. I love what I do, and I am grateful I can do this at Sandoz, every day. |

I’m a straightforward person, driven by things I’m passionate about. I love the hunt for new deals and finding creative ideas to grow our portfolio. I love figuring out ways to outsmart the competition. I love putting our strategy into action, and I’m the first to roll up my sleeves to aspire to flawless execution in close collaboration with my team. I love the people I work with, and my long-term goal is to leave the people and the company in which I work in a better place than when I started. It’s a privilege to be a part of this amazing industry of developing and manufacturing medicines, and I’m proud to tell my kids what I do and our impact on society.

Ted Stueck VP, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, NA |
||
As the leader of the compliance function, I try to ensure that all of my actions and any decisions that I am taking are done at the highest level of integrity that I can offer. In this role I am able to assist the organization by providing guidance, removing obstacles and bureaucracy, and course correction where necessary. Most important is the ability to convey the why behind compliance governance. I try to do the same in my personal life as a father to three boys, encouraging them to do great things, with integrity, and be the best they can be – always reflecting on the impact they may have on others and to be aware of not only why they may have that impact, but how. |
